HIPAA requires specific policies, procedures, and implementation documentation for visible demonstrable evidence (VDE). If your documentation is incomplete, inaccurate, or otherwise insufficient, chances are the practice, facility, or location will not comply either.

Our HIPAA document review process means that we read through your materials and verify them against HIPAA requirements, standards, implementation specifications, and addressables to determine adherence to HIPAA. If the exchanged documentation is sufficient and meets expectations (or at least requirements), then any on-site assessment will be able to focus on compliance with the started documentation. If the documentation is incomplete, inaccurate, or otherwise deemed insufficient, any on-site review should be postponed until the documentation can be updated and corrected.
