She also provides medical providers and their business associates with assistance complying with HIPAA and privacy and security regulations.
She is an Accredited Small Business Consultant (STEM Approach), a Certified Trainual Consultant, and a member of multiple professional associations which include the American Marketing Association, American Health Information Management Association, and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.
When she isn’t geeking out, she enjoys the companionship of her loving husband, raising two energetic fast-growing boys, cuddling with her elderly tabby, and engaging in various nerdy pursuits.

Mrs. Cherisa Chapa, ASBC® started Recharge Digital Consultancy to assist with providing for her family. However, that wasn’t the only motivation. Her oldest son was born with autism. Although he is a high functioning smart individual, like most with a disability, he will have challenges supporting himself when he is an adult. By joining the family business, he will have a better opportunity to be self-sustaining. The goal is for both sons to enjoy working in the family business.
